The institute’s mission is to promote a European dimension of the education so the Institute commission board encourages teachers to activate and do European projects in order to educate the future European citizens.
n order to develop teacher professional skills, every year the Institute plans and delivers eTwinning methodology-training programmes.
Most of the projects got National and European Quality Labels and one of them, Sailing the Mediterranean sea won the 2015/16 National prize. The same project was presented in the European conference “Citizenship: a new ethic for 21st century-The contribution of eTwinning” and included in the Conference proceedings among examples of best practices.
eTwinning is the community for school in Europe
eTwinning offers a platform for staff (teachers, head teachers, librarians, etc.), working in a school in one of the European countries involved, to communicate, collaborate, develop projects, share and, in short, feel and be part of the most exciting community in Europe.
